Our Process
We have a six-step executive recruiting process.
1. Determining Your Needs
We work closely with you to analyze your company's needs and internal culture as well as the work that the successful candidate needs to perform. From this understanding, we determine the skills, experience and other characteristics necessary for the successful candidate. We prepare a written position specification that outlines all of these factors. The position specification serves as the roadmap for our search efforts.
2. Identifying Prospects
With the position specification in hand, we call sources and prospects to identify and interest qualified individuals. We often identify likely companies, often your competitors, as potential sources of candidates. We make frequent progress reports during this phase.
3. Screening and Written Summaries
We interview likely prospects, evaluating each one's experience and potential cultural fit with your organization. Ultimately, we submit confidential written reports on the three to five candidates who we believe most closely fit the position specification.
4. Client Interviews
We work with you to schedule mutually convenient meetings between you and each candidate, including travel arrangements reimbursement of travel expenses. After each interview, we contact both you and the candidates for feedback.
5. Reference Check
Once you have selected a final candidate, we contact the candidate's references and review our findings with you.
6. Closing the Deal
As the search nears an end, we can help you to structure a compensation package that works for both you and the candidate. We are your active partners in "closing the deal." Even after the new employee is on board our work continues, as we can help to support the his or her successful integration into your organization.
